Zion Mosque
14,000 SF all metal construction house of worship constructed for the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam on 3 acres of untouched forest land. Unique features of the mosque included construction of a 40 foot dome in the main prayer hall, aluminum panel cladding, ornamental stamped concrete, custom metal decorative arches, a 2,000 SF exhibition hall with infrastructure for museum quality LED displays, 100 car parking lot, and storm water retention pond. This mosque was of particular historical significance to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community as related to a 100+ year old prophecy of their Founder. ALFA Chicago was the general contractor and assisted with obtaining several zoning variances for the building.
