ALFA Chicago was selected as the design-build contractor for the Township of Schaumburg’s gymnasium conversion, transforming a single-story, 20-foot-high space into two functional levels of office and activity areas. Partnering with HOH Architects as lead designer, ALFA led the full design and construction effort, delivering an additional 4,000 square feet of usable space to support the Township’s staff and programming needs.

Despite numerous unforeseen conditions, ALFA kept the project on schedule and within budget. Our team was recognized by the client for minimizing disruption to building occupants and maintaining a smooth construction process from start to finish.
