ALFA Chicago oversaw all construction for the general contractor of this extremely complex floating washroom structure built for West Trec Marina and the Chicago Park District. The entire structure had to be built on floats sitting in the harbor. Construction had to be completed on an expedited schedule to ensure the bathrooms would be ready for the boating season. Construction on the water meant ALFA had to monitor special safety concerns such as drowning hazards and underwater MEP connections.
