Park Ridge City Hall Renovations
ALFA Chicago completed a series of occupied renovations within Park Ridge City Hall, requiring careful coordination in an active, client-facing municipal environment. Work was performed while maintaining full operations across multiple departments, including Building, Finance, Public Works, Administration, and select areas of the Police Department.
The project focused on modernizing public-facing office spaces while improving safety, functionality, and long-term durability. Major upgrades included installation of new casework, flooring systems, and ceiling finishes, creating a cohesive and updated interior environment throughout the facility.
A major component of the renovation included the integration of ballistic-rated glass and ballistic casework to enhance security for both city employees and visitors. These upgrades were incorporated within the existing building while minimizing disruption to ongoing daily operations and public services.
Through detailed phasing, scheduling, and coordination, the renovation was completed while preserving operational continuity and public accessibility. The completed project reflects ALFA Chicago’s ability to successfully execute complex occupied municipal renovations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality craftsmanship.
